And an academic one too! Faltin Karlsen at the University of Oslo has started writing in his Playground. I met Faltin for the first time at Other Players in Copenhagen, where he presented the paper Media complexity and diversity of use: Thoughts on a taxonomy of Users of Multiuser Online Games.
And if you look at his webpage, you'll see he is a visionary young man with ambitions, who plans to keep working at Institute of Media and Communication in Oslo into the next milennium...
