Holiday cheer

Just because it's silly, and with the hurricanes and constant rain I'll accept anything to bring some colour and light into this December! Merry Christmas to you all!

I promise to show it to my 11 yrs granddaughter, although the meaning of the deer is lost on us... And what is the word or words heard from time to time? I assume they are no Happy Hanukkah...

Welcome to visit my own Israeli multi-lingual blog (no Sweddish version yet...)
Happy Holiday Season

I think the non-comprehensive words are "Merry Christmas" - isn't that kind of the "Christian" version of Happy Hanuka?

And that's an American Santa Claus, in Norway (where we speak Norwegian, which is similar to Swedish but not quite), the "nisse" lives all around us all the time, and don't just pop in around Christmas time. The American Santa drives around the world in a sleigh and delivers Christmas presents to children. And his sleigh is pulled at magical speed by his reindeer, the lead one is Rudolf, the red-nosed reindeer :)

Enjoy!
